Directed by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), the China Environment Chamber of Commerce (CECC) is a non-profit membership organization dealing with management and improvement of environmental service related industries in China, especially in water supply, wastewater treatment, solid waste, air pollution control, circular economy, and low-carbon economy.

Founded on June 12 of 2007, CECC was initiated by well-known domestic environmental companies and global leading water enterprises in China, such as Beijing Sound Environmental Group, Beijing Capital Corporation, Golden State Environment Group, VEOLIA Water, Sino French Water, etc. Currently, CECC has more than 80 corporate members that cover the whole industrial chain, involving capital investment, project operation, engineering construction, equipment supply, and consulting service.

CECC aims to provide a communicative platform for its members to share professional information and experience, and discuss critical issues regarding environmental technology and policy，leading them to make great contribution to the society. Meanwhile, CECC works to preserve the members’ rights and interests, promotes their mutual communication and performance, and makes efforts to the standardization and development of China’s environmental industry.

Furthermore, CECC is to launch studies on specific policy and strategy in terms of the controversial hot topics in China’s environmental industry, providing professional recommendations to related government agencies. CECC has established close relationship with major government agencies, including National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other governmental agencies.

CECC is willing to carry out extensive cooperation with any enterprises and organizations that commit themselves to promote the development of China’s environmental industry.
